Isaiah 6

This painting is based off of the first 7 verses of Isaiah chapter 6. Isaiah is swept up into Heaven and sees the Lord seated on the throne. This passage conveys how overwhelmed Isaiah is by the realization of who God IS and who Isaiah isn't. Despite Isaiah's feelings of being unclean and unworthy before the Lord, an angel of the Lord comes to him with a coal from the altar, and cleanses him of his sins.
